After a courageous and lengthy battle, Dawn Buckland (née Hamilton) of Magog, Québec, passed away in the early morning of October 9th, 2021 at the age of 71 years with the love of her family surrounding her.

Dawn will be lovingly remembered by her beloved and devoted husband of 49 years, Michael; her adoring children: Chris (Pierre), April and Paul (Tracey); her cherished grandchildren: Isabelle, Elliana, Paulusi, Jimmy, Raelyn and Tyler; her siblings: Laura (the late Alistair), Jean (Len), Alex (Carol), (the late Jackie), Althea (the late Fred), Grant (Lilian), (the late Nelson and Suzie), Ella Margaret (Miles), Peter (the late Maggie), Michael and Andy (Robin); her sisters in law: Susan (the late Michael) and Nancy (Randy) as well as her many nieces, nephews and other family members.  Dawn will also be dearly missed by her best friend of many years, Linda (and Georges).

Dawn was predeceased by her parents, Alexander and Ella.

Dawn was a very friendly and caring person who loved her family and time spent with those she held dear.

At Dawn’s request, a private family service will take place.

Après un long et courageux combat, madame Dawn (Hamilton) Buckland de Magog, Québec, est décédée à l’âge de 71 ans, à l’aube du 9 octobre 2021 entourée de l’amour de ses proches.

Dawn manquera énormément à son tendre et dévoué époux des 49 dernières années, monsieur Michael Buckland; ses enfants adorés : Chris (Pierre), April   et Paul (Tracey); ses petits-enfants chéris : Isabelle, Elliana, Paulusi, Jimmy, Raelyn et Tyler; sa fratrie: Laura (feu Alistair), Jean (Len), Alex (Carol), (feu Jackie), Althea (feu Fred), Grant (Lilian), (feu Nelson et Suzie), Ella Margaret (Miles), Peter (feu Maggie), Michael and Andy (Robin); ses belles-soeurs: Susan (feu Michael) et Nancy (Randy); ainsi que plusieurs nièces, neveux et autres parents. Dawn manquera également à sa meilleure amie de longue date Linda (et Georges).

Dawn fut précédée par ses parents Ella et Alexander.

Elle était une femme de cœur bienveillante qui aimait énormément sa famille et adorait passer du temps avec ses proches.

Afin de respecter ses dernières volontés, sa famille lui rendra hommage en toute intimité.

La famille désire remercier Dr David Langleben et son équipe, Dr. Ariel Masetto, Nathalie Langelier, inhalothérapeute, et le personnel médical du CLSC pour leurs bon soins et leur compassion au cours des dernières années.
